University of Bath Bath BA2 7AY United KingdomDescription
Following the success of previous meetings, we would like to announce the University of Bath's 4th HPC Symposium which will take place on Thursday 4th June 2015 (all day).
The aim of the symposium is to provide a forum for current (and prospective) users of the University's HPC service, currently Aquila, with news on acceptance testing for the new resource Balena, as well as providing an excellent opportunity to network and exchange ideas with colleagues. Hopefully the experience and the people you meet will help you with your own research in the future.
The following activities are planned for the day:
- We are delighted to announce that the keynote lecture will be delivered by Mark Chapman from the Bloodhound SSC project.
- Talks and posters by users of the HPC facility.
- Prizes will be given for the best contributions overall and from a student.
- A buffet lunch will be provided along with after event refreshments and lots of opportunities to network.
The meeting will be held in the Chancellor Building, Room CB2.6, further details can be found on the webpage: http://go.bath.ac.uk/hpc-symposium
